Biblical garden, labyrinth and tea house
A couple of years ago through the commitment and hard work of volunteers a large biblical garden was created at Schloss Beuggen. Many of the plants, herbs, trees and spinneys mentioned in the bible are now growing on the 1,000 sqm of gently sloping lawn adjoining the old orchard. Our bible garden team offer tours through the bible garden in which you will discover amazing facts about the plants, their use and the meaning of the biblical scriptures.
The Christian community of Beuggen created a labyrinth, which invitingly will take you on a "path to the centre" under the old Lebanon cedar.
Both the paths of the biblical garden and the labyrinth have been designed to allow wheelchair access.
The tea house is a vestige of the planned baroque garden. It is located directly to the river Rhine and can be accessed via Lindenallee. The teahouse is currently closed.
