Bad Driburg, along with its neighbouring villages and small towns, features manifold leisure attractions such as well-kept hiking trails, boat trips on the river Weser, glazing shows and golf courses.

The health resort of Bad Driburg - an officially recognised mineral and mudbath spa - is located at the heart of the Eggegebirge/Teutoburg Forest nature reserve, 220 metres above sea level.

The region features a mild bracing climate in a landscape known as the "cure garden of East Westpahlia”.
